To Manish,
For visible light mixing, RGB is the right model (hence your monitor uses RGB).
But for printed paper, historically RYB was used (including in your "Chitrakaam" classes).
The RYB model has since been corrected to CMY (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) for prints.

RGB vs. RYB! Perhaps one of these two concepts is suspect.
