મુકેશ જોષી - ચોમાસું
લીલાછમ પાંદડાએ મલક્તાં મલક્તાં
માંડેલી અચરજની વાટ
ધરતીને સીમમાં જોઇ એકલીને એને
બાઝી પડ્યો રે વરસાદ.
પહેલી ટપાલ જેમ આવેલા વાયરાએ
ઘાસના કાનમાં દીધી કંઇ ફૂંક
ધરતી સાંભળતાં સાંભળે એ પહેલાં
કોયલના કંઠમાં નીકળી ગઇ કુક
આઠ આઠ મહિને પણ આભને ઓચિંતી
ધરતી આવી ગઇ યાદ...
ડુંગરાઓ ચુપચાપ સ્નાન કરે જોઇને
નદીઓ પણ દોડી ગઇ દરીઆની પાસે
એવામાં આભ જરા નીચે ઝૂક્યું ને
પછી ધરતીને ચૂમી લીધી એક શ્વાસે
ધરતીને તરણાં ઓ ફૂટશે ના વાવડથી
આભલામાં જાગ્યો ઉંન્પાદ ...

Very sensitive geet with many original imaginations...more like Ramesh Parekh style. However, handling of proper words and their seamless connection to convey such a beautiful feelings requires years of work. When you sing this you dont feel the natural flow like you feel with Rajendra Shah's geet or with Ramesh Parekh, Harindra Dave, Vinod Joshi etc...
Nonetheless, new but quite potentail poet.

Sundar, aati sundar. I have to admit though - I had never heard of Mukesh Joshi before. Now I am looking forward to reading more of his stuff. Please post some more if you have them.
